Since getting this rocking chair for FREE we weren't sure if it would work in P's room. We still don't know if it has enough ROCK in it, but thought we would wait and see what P thinks. Also, we weren't thrilled with the rose colored leather (pleather?). So, we pulled out our favorite blue/green/gray fabric (that we have lots of since miscalculating for the sun room sofa) and recovered the chair. And since we have no idea how to sew- at least not in a straight line we went with a more familiar tool to complete the job. And Voila!

of mice and men

What do you do when the mice just run around you? I am sort of paralyzed in my chair...why does this little beast have so much power over me? They are so unpredictable, they move fast, and they are just dirty. So I just sit in my chair with my feet up- hoping it will find its way back into the wall or something. The man of the house is still at work, and I think these little demons know that I am too scared of them to do much of anything. Besides what am I going to do rush it into a corner and step on it? Sick!

I long for the day when this house is mouse free...
